In Altoona, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. We really like the bread . It's baked fresh on the premesis . You can also buy day old bread at a discount. My only complaint was When I arrived and went to go in the building there was a woman standing outside of the building directly in front of the door smoking. She did move aside for me to enter but to get in I had to walk through her cigarette smoke which I can't stand the smell of , and then once I went in the building the smell lingered inside the building. I personally feel if the employees are permitted to smoke and they do go outside to do so they should move a fair distance from the door so that customers don't need to be exposed to the smoke, or smell when they are entering or once they are inside as well

We used to go here all of the time in high school, since we could just walk here. The cinnamon rolls are incredible. So I definitely recommend going on a Friday morning. The pepperoni bread is also incredible. I would highly suggest you check this place out! The pricing was reasonable to as far as I can remember!!
